Double and triple edge with disposable cartridges

"Double edge" tends to refer to "safety" razors like in the picture on the last page or the links I posted. His reference to "disposable" was probably meant to say "cartridge." By comparison, DE blades are pennies on the dollar- Astra Stainless blades are about 11 cents each, and I usually shave 4 times with each one.

They used to just sell rebranded Dorco razors which can be had cheaper than their subscription- something to look into based on how much you're using/spending.

Is it possible that you’re really hyper-focused on race?

I would say it's the commercial makers that are hyper-focused on race. We hear about the need for more diversity all the time, but I never see a black in that role. Odd. I mean, all things considered equal, you'd expect a 50/50 chance the criminal would be black. Are you suggesting that this anomaly is the result of complete random chance, or could it be intentional?

Never heard of safety razors as double edged.Gillette and Schick were the first I ever heard make a reference to double edge and later triple edge.Safety razor never worked for me BTW.

Horse shite, you could watch them deleting perfectly mundane criticism of their ad in real time last night.

You're not convincing anyone with those lies.

nevermind a portfolio where they show INCREASED SALES.

no no no....they have "social activism"

sounds like the time is getting ripe to get into the marketing game.

SJW's took over Madison Avenue about 25 years ago.

The days of Don Draper are long gone.

those women know about as much about masculinity as I know about giving birth. This just simply shouldn't happen and the people behind it should be fired and never work in advertising again. It's no wonder it came off as condescending, preachy, out-of-touch and sanctimonious. A bunch of women put the thing together. It felt like a lecture from a bunch of leftist women and that is exactly what it was. Screw you Gillette.

The frick does this have to do with the Gillette ad?

Because it's painfully obvious to anyone even half way paying attention that if you need to portray someone idiotic and/or villainous in advertising these days, 99.99% of the time it's a white man filling that role.

I don't even think this is because of some sort of purposeful anti-white male conspiracy, but more we've reached the point where advertisers are absolutely terrified of being called racist or sexist by portraying anyone NOT white or male negatively, so white men are just by default who's left as the only individuals advertisers feel comfortable making the stooge or the heel.

Just buy an old safety-razor and some cheap blades...you can get a pack of 1,000 blades for like 5 bucks.

This is what I've been doing for many years. The razor blades are inexpensive.

And I get a closer shave.

Screw Gillette.

You know the disposable razor industry jumped the shark when they now have to keep them under lock and key in security cases like they were fricking ipods.

Why wouldn't they?A freaking 5 pack of cartridges go for $22.00...an absolute rip off.

No surprise there. Two unattractive, bitter harpies condescendingly telling men how to be men. Fourth wave feminism is as cancerous as sjw identity politics. Where's Camille Paglia (or Wayne Brady) when you need to choke a bitch?

They actually could redeem themselves if they changed the ad to don’t abandon your kids and teach them to use their aggression to be gentlemen. Toxic masculinity is the result of fathers who don’t raise their fricking kids. They’re raised by single moms, have nothing but female teachers, and female social workers come in and out of their one bedroom apartment, and by the time a male role model comes into his life, he’s a member of a gang, and then the kid is in prison by the age of 22 having impregnated 3 chicks along the way, and thus starting the whole cycle over again.

But it’s too late for them to do something like this and tell men act like fricking men. Pretty much they said turn your boy into a fricking girl.

I do love how they started off the commercial with bullying texting, when girls do that 5 to 1 to boys.

there it is

honestly, yes, it surprises the shite out of me that large or small companies buy into this shite and then allow these loons to wreck their brand.

I use their shitty products, my wife has been INSTRUCTED not to buy anymore of their shite. And since she vowed to Love, honour and OBEY me, she wont give it a second thought.

frick you Gillett
