Been fishing offshore for 30 years. Been to rigs all over the Gulf of America.
The next time I see a low profile boat with 3 or 4 300+ HP engines and a guy standing on the bow while running wide open will be the first fricking time.
The last video I saw was a guy standing on the bow at night while boat was hauling arse. Clearly a fisherman right?

What do you think those "fishing boats" were carrying in 55 gallon drums??

The US has an entire aircraft carrier fleet parked off the shores of Venezuela.....
Obviously you have zero understanding of the capabilities they have.
They've had 24 hour patrols, high in the sky, capable of tracking multiple movements of suspected drug smuggling operations, to whatever holding place, then to whatever dock/port loaded into the boats, and the boats leaving....

Trials are unnecessary when in international waters and eliminating threats to national security, specifically those from organizations labeled as terrorists who are being sent from foreign nations to our shores, whatever the cause.

Because the people on the drug boats were operating as “pirates” without any nation’s flags on their boats. Accordingly, under international law, they were not entitled to any trials.
