As a man called to preach nigh 40 years I get the confusion lay men have on this, I really do. But it was all a part of God's plan to reach the whole world. The Messiah had to be birthed via a CALLED OUT PEOPLES, Abraham was giving all the promises of a coming Kingdom Age, where the Messiah would rule in Israel. Their problem was they only saw the Conquering King scriptures, not the meekly lamb scriptures, its now called a confirmation bias.

God knew Israel after 1500 years would never truly turn from The Law of Moses, but THE PROMISE came 430 years before THE LAW was given to Moses, so the promise is and was the original covenant, Abraham was made righteous simply because HE BELIVED God. So, Salvation can only come by FAITH ALONE, not by any actions we take per se, accept excepting that Jesus alone is our Righteousness.

Israel would not accept this the Law was more important to them than God, this they rejected God in the flesh, Jesus, a perfect man. But God has a PLAN. It was called the Pax Romanus, and God used that to spread the Gospel unto the whole world, God had to reach the Gentiles with this Messiah via the Disciples, then they could reach the world. So, how was that possible? All roads lead to Rome, with a Beast City like Rome, every person, even the Disciples were considered Roman Citizens, and thus had free travel throughout the whole kingdom as taxpayers. The whole kingdom basically spoke one language, Koine Greek, so the Disciples via this common language could spread the Gospel and eventually, the Church delivered the MORTAL WOUND of Rev. 13 to the Beast (Rome) and she became a Conveyor Belt of the Gospel unto the whole world. So, God knew just when to send Jesus and just how to spread the Gospel, he knew the world would never accept this from one nation, Israel, but he knew they could evangelize Gentiles and they could spread this truth.

Then, in the end times in Ezekiel, it is Prophesied in chapter 37 that God would revive these dead men's bones, which were dead for nigh 2000 years, but He would do so with them SPIRITUALLY DEAD, (they have NO BREATH in them) and its up to us the Church to show them the truths of God which will eventually, after the pre trib rapture lead them back unto God, JUST BEFORE God's Wrath falls (Apophis DOTL Asteroid will hit on April 13, 2029).

In Zech. 13:8-9 we see that 1/3 of Israel repents and 2/3 refuses to do so and will perish/die at the hands of the Anti-Christ. The 1/3 will flee into the Petra/Bozrah area where God the Father protects them. Then in the very next verse (Zech. 14:1) we see the Day of the Lord (God's Wrath) ARRIVES so Israel repents THEN God's Wrath falls. Then 1260 das later in vs. 3 Jesus sets foot on the Mt. of Olives and splits it into. From that point on Jesus will be ruling for 1000 years on David's Thrones during the Kingdom Age. Christian will not be on earth for that, EXCEPT for those that Rev. 20:4 say were killed during the 70th week by not taking the Mark of the Beast, it says SPECIFICALLY, that only those Martyrs will live and reign with Christ for 1000 years. Meaning the rest of us return to Heaven, to IMHO, finish of the New Jerusalem/Ne Earth, after all as it descends it is called the Bride of Christ. Jesus is God the Redeemer, he spoke creation, he spoke victory at Armageddon, he does not need billions of people with Glorious bodies ruling on earth with him, that would not be productive.

So, God gave us three phases, 1.) Israel birthing the Messiah 2.) The Church Age where any and all men of any and all nations could be a part of the Bride of Christ including Jews, the Jews were just blinded IN PART (meaning as a Nation) until the Time of the Gentiles [SERVICE unto God] came in full (Rapture), then they would SEE AGAIN, how? By reading our testimonials to what was going to come before it came AND because God sends back Elijah and (IMHO) Moses to preach repentance. So, 5 Million Jews repent and accept THEIR Messiah, their eyes as a Nation are opened once again. Then Jesus returns and rules 1000 years on the Throne of David. This a the TESTIMONIAL that condemns Satan. He ruled the whole earth (Babylon) for 6000 years, we saw murders, hate, wars, perverts, etc. etc. but under Christ for 1000 years the Lamb will be able to lie down with the Lion and there will be NO WARS, NO GREED, NO HATE and that will condemn Satan to his eternal fate.

In what way is any country a great ally? We're the greatest nation in the history of humanity. Any of our allies will take more than they give, and we can survive and thrive without them.

Specific to Israel, they are an ally in a region filled with bad actors and enemies. We share intelligence. The strength of their military and intelligence agencies reduces the amount of American boots that are necessary in the middle east.
