was probably their smartest move yet to use the most non-specific term possible for their movement.

because "change" can mean anything.
so they'll always be right.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned ENRON yet. They were planning to run and profit from the carbon credit exchanges and so they funded researchers who would push that narrative or discredit anyone who questioned it.

Had been basic labor and the rights of the poor for hundreds of years. The rise of the middle class led to women's rights mainly abortion , pollution and rights for blacks in sixties and 70s. When these were addressed it became racism and glass ceilings and ecology. Most of this the people could see had gotten better. Then in a huge woke leap of desperation systematic racism which whites can't see and MGW which only scientists can see took center stage. The woke Karen's carrying Palestinian flags with rainbow hair is the most recent get out the vote squirrel.

Look up and research Maurice Strong. UN Oil For Food Scandal. Had ties to Paul Volcker. Corrupt as hell.
Climate Change was nothing more than a ponzi scheme of Globalists.

you forgot "no nukes" after ZPG we had no nukes that was the whole 80's super man 4 the quest for peace, phil collins land of confusion, the day after tomorrow! we were supposed to give up our nukes and the soviets would follow our good example.

superman 4 (superman was going to use his super powers to disarm the united states) bombed so bad that it ended chris reeves career a song came out the same year,1987 by group midnight oil called "our beds are burning" written originally to bring to attention the plight of indigenous australians and their cultural practice of land burning (portrayed in the movie "the right stuff") the left and MTV quickly co opted the song and global warming was born.

It was originally "Global Warming", and when it was shown that the Earth is actually in a cooling cycle, the greenie wienies crawfished and changed the name to "Climate Change"

Environmentalism took on doomsday status back in the sixties and American communists began to call themselves environmentalists.

It's a more palatable way to redistribute wealth.

1798 with Thomas Malthus with his publishing An Essay on the Principle of Population .

He cited the problems that would ensue by the overpopulation of the Earth.

As I write this I am reminded of Gulliver's Travels written by Johnathan Swift in 1726.

Here is a quote from his classic, "The first man I saw was of a meagre aspect, with sooty hands and face, his hair and beard long, ragged, and singed in several places. His clothes, shirt, and skin, were all of the same colour. He has been eight years upon a project for extracting sunbeams out of cucumbers, which were to be put in phials hermetically sealed, and let out to warm the air in raw inclement summers. He told me, he did not doubt, that, in eight years more, he should be able to supply the governor’s gardens with sunshine, at a reasonable rate: but he complained that his stock was low, and entreated me "to give him something as an encouragement to ingenuity, especially since this had been a very dear season for cucumbers". I made him a small present, for my lord had furnished me with money on purpose, because he knew their practice of begging from all who go to see them. "

Reminds me of solar panels.

The Berlin Wall fell and all of the USSR's generals queued up at Greenpeace's door to help hamstring the US economy under the guise of eNvIrOnMeNtAlIsM.

There was a brief shot at The New Ice Age is coming. The problem was that you couldn't link it to industry and capitalism. So, they quickly changed it to warming and started paying big money to NGO and foundations to fabricate rising temps. Their math was challenged in peer reviews in the science world but ignored by the media.
Then, we had some really cold winters so they changed the name to 'Climate Change' instead of 'Global Warming.' They are still fabricating high temps and claiming 'Warmest ever in ..............' where it's not the warmest ever there. Some people bothered to check and caught the lies. They just ignore it.

The ice and mass increase in Antarctica is amazing. Amazing that the doom goblins pretend it's not there.

Yeah, I saw a map showing the tip of South America is very close to the northern tip of Antarctica.

The bogus "hockey stick" predicted that the world was going to melt and seas were going to rise and swallow the coastal cities.

Apparently, someone seized upon some data and someone else saw the opportunity that it could be used to control the masses.

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on how this first got going.

They put NASA's name on it when NASA was actually respected.

In the 1960's, Al Gore pushed it hard when he came to power (this is due to the rich building a fake market)

Remember we are already in a Ice Age, Acid rain has done destroyed the food, the polar caps went away over 30 years ago.

To give everyone a hind here, it was hotter worldwide before the volcano of 535 AD. That volcano changed world history and caused mass movements of people.
