There is NO human right that requires you to steal labor or treasure from another to provide?
Right to life? Liberty? pursuit of happiness? Freedom of speech? Freedom to associate? Hell, even Civil Rights?
None of those requires anyone else to DO anything.
But, healthcare? That requires a doctor to provide a service or a drug maker to create and provide a medicine. Or, it requires the Gov to use guns to take money from others to pay for it.
It is frickery to call this a human right

I prefer having quality healthcare.

Because you don't have a right to someone else's labor.

Where is it listed in the bill or rights or constitution?

How can you justify killing a fully viable baby in the third trimester? That is evil.

Healthcare may be a right. But it sure in the hell is not a right to make me pay for your healthcare.
BTW, have you seen how well the VA works, or the post office, or any other government run department.
Healthcare is a right is code for I want more free shite.

Oh. Look. A list of nations checked off that are completely reliant upon the US for national defense as well as worldwide airlift capabilities and naval projection during emergencies such as natural disasters.

Me too. What is your address so I can send YOU the bill for MY free healthcare? You see, nothing is free. Someone has to pay for it.

How can you possibly deny that healthcare is a human right?
they just need a little more money.
BUT IT'S 'FREE' !

Under the constitution only life liberty and pursuit of happiness or rights. Everything else is a privilege.

I'm with Bernie.
Who has been denied healthcare in the US?
Are you claiming that a person who is ill will be turned away at a hospital?

I agree with the dominant conclusion of this thread, but the logic being used by most is directly contradicted by the 6th amendment.
It clearly guarantees a "right" to the labor of an attorney.
So yall have a major problem with the Bill of Rights.
curious how you reconcile that

Thats just a means of not destroying the system with backlogs. The legal system is a system directed by mumbo jumbo legaleze. Lawyers would make a mint on some Joe Schmo being convicted because he doesn't speak mumbo jumbo legaleze. It save stealing even more of someone elses labor working through the system.

No, it guarantees a right to have an attorney present. Not that the state would provide one. The state providing an attorney is an after the fact addition not found in the Constitution, and only applied after Gideon v. Wainright in 1963.

How can you possibly deny that when I am born I am not in debt to you?
