Yep, was talking about this last week. We all used to get pumped come tarpon rodeo time. It was a 4 day party, hanging out up and down the island, hit up Artie's, The Beach Club(Daddy's Money) and just have such a great drunken time.

Now all that is gone, sure the rodeo is there but it's for the rich people, no where to set up on the highway and hang out like we used to. The beach club is a hardware store, last I heard Arties isn't Arties anymore just some plate lunch place.

Now where did I say that? The diversion will make speckled trout fishing infinitely more difficult, so maybe some of the folks will be trading in their blackjacks for skeeters.

If not for fourchon grand isle wouldn't be near what it is now..
