This is the reason for the mask mandate.
It’s to pretend like there’s some managing it. That by our efforts, or more correctly, government fiat, we can wish away the virus.
That’s not how viruses work.

In businesses per the mandate
Put on the mask to go into the restaurant
Sit down take it off
Put it on to go to the bathroom
Sit down take it off
Pay the bill, put on the mask to walk out
Get outside, take it off
The blue disposable surgical masks are the best, light, stick in your pocket, throw it away when it gets sweaty
Whole thing is stupid

That’s a good way of putting it.

The fact of the matter is, until there is a vaccine and/or herd immunity begins to take over, its never going away.
I just wanted to point out the fact that Hidalgo claimed masks would save us all, and in reality, it hasn’t changed the direction one bit.

The goal post keeps moving and wheels just sits there and takes it like a soy baked liberal.

That seems unnecessary.i can just cook at home instead of play mask on and off. The restaurant owners need to rise up and raise hell to save their business.

They’re required in Houston too.
But my neighbors‘ teenage daughter down the street threw a pretty good-sized pool party this past weekend ... kids and parents.
Not a mask was to be seen—excluding the catering folks.
How many died?

This mornings update... notice anything?
So Texas decreasing but Houston increasing still. Hmm

Seems like the masks aren't working.

How normal is it for the state to have more than 1000 empty ICU beds when not in a “pandemic”? Without that information the statement above in completely meaningless and pointless.
Why is it so hard for journalists to do their jobs?

less than 1% death rate in the 4th biggest population center in the country is all I read here.

Did you see my thread a few days ago? Hispanics are the overwhelming majority of positive tests state wide and hospitalizations in Houston. Good thing liberals have made a boogeyman of muh non mask wearers
