Business casual, perhaps. None of those outfits are suitable for a client meeting. Not a one.

The one where it's not OK to flash your flabby arse batwing arms to clients.

Does not happen in my world.

The business world in Florida. Never seen anyone go to a client's office with batwings showing.

MJ, you're an attorney in NYC. I feel like you are probably the most "business world" person in this thread.

What do you think?

Because I see dress like that from women at all levels in my world, but I'm in South, so

Everyone's scared to be elite.
Wear a fricking tie once in a while. And buy a nice one.

This isn't an office building, it's Capitol Hill. Sleeves should be required for women just as they are for men because, you know, equality and stuff.

This is where I get confused. We hear every day that women want to be treated no different from the men. Our male representatives aren't allowed to show up to the capitol dressed like Larry the Cable Guy, so why do these women get special treatment when it comes to bare arms? Do they want equality or don't they?

Women are equal to men in every single way but sometimes they're more equal because justice.

Honestly, I'm kind of torn. Even in my world, standards have slipped for both men and women. So, while I generally would say that the women in the OP picture would trend more to the lax examples that I see, I don't think they're too unusual.

Now, in-house at clients is a completely different story. There, I would say that they're probably the norm, unless we're talking venture capital, in which case they're dressy in almost every context other than a business conference.
