I knew the no tax on SS would never happen. It’s a great campaign promise, but never stood a chance of passing.

The bill — titled the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” adopting Trump’s slogan for the measure ...increases the debt limit by $4 trillion, among many other provisions.

"Big Beautiful Bill Act". They are mocking us, folks.

Instead of slashing the fat from this budget, the ridiculous spending embedded within this Big Dopey Drunken Sailor Bill (USAID NOT AFFECTED) is rushed through Congress in the middle of the night (once again.)

Now Representatives (yes, like Tom Massie) can't properly deliberate AND debate an insane Debt Ceiling hike on behalf of the American people which INCREASES spending by $4 Trillion (!!!)

So exactly who really is benefiting from this along with another QE? (aka code for Devaluing of the Dollar)

Massie, me, and many other conservatives:

Riiiiight.

By the time Thune and his globalist-UniParty pals are done, the "tweaks" will be, "Hey, let's hike the Debt Limit Ceiling by another Trillion -- afterall, Big Pharm, the MIC, and our Big Beautiful Bureacracy gotta eat. And of course we'll vote on it at 3:00am."

What a bunch of phony clowns.

No breaks for the middle class and tax cuts for the wealthy will be a hard message to fight against. Just bad politics in my opinion.

Link to this language in the actual bill, please.

I am pissed about the mic spending, could easily have cut 400 billion there.

This.

For a country that's never been invaded in over 200 years and STILL not engaged in any defensive wars OR real "threats", any MIC increases have been unnecessary and ridiculous.

This is a big let down. Tax the elderly so you can make sure all those able bodied welfare recipients get paid for never paying taxes.

Tell us what those people you quote have accomplished that would have been better if only it had been passed instead.

What does that look like, in detail, rather than 240 characters. You can attach a link to the plan.

Yesterday was pretty down in the markets. Are you calling "worst May in forever" yet?

No way, he'll just arrogantly and lazily sit back and pat himself on the back for "doing the right thing," and voting with Democrats to obstruct meaningful change because he and other Libertarian f@gs didn't get 100% of what they want that 100% passes their gay arse Libertarian purity test.

Then he'll go back to doing nothing and being ineffectual... but "principled."

Get ready for a blue landslide in the midterms if the senate passes this.

Tax cut for the wealthy and cutting Medicaid aren't going to be popular, especially when the MSM hammer that home all year.

The blue collar votes that won him the election will go back to Dem, I fear.

Illegals deported, peace deals, trade deals, cheaper gas, cheaper groceries, more jobs, and a strong stock market? The GOP will be just fine. No one takes the mainstream media seriously anymore... the whole Biden cover up and everything coming out with that is only damaging them more.

You realize we still have the better part of four years left of Trumps term, right?

Also MAGA folks;

I'm sure MAGA would respond the same way if Kamala also claimed to be saving money in the distant future.
