So Congressional Democrats are holding Barr in contempt for abiding by a law, Federal Rules Of Criminal Procedure 6(e), passed by Congress
Under the FRCP, AG Barr is forbidden to disclose grand jury information.

Democrats do not have to worry about optics.
They have a complicit media on their side that will lie.
They are pandering to people like VOR, Doc, DC09, Strong Safety, etc. People with IQs below room temp don't care.
Besides, Democrats have already proven that breaking laws have no consequences, at least for them. So why not try and force someone from the other side to do so?

It means it goes to the House floor for a full vote. If it's adopted by the full House (likely with a 38 vote majority), then the US Attorney or the DOJ has to decide whether or not they'll act on it. Highly unlikely.
The Dims next move would then to sue Barr and/or Trump in court. No judge in their right mind is going to side with the Dims to release classified information about intelligence sources and methods that the report certainly contains.
