I did not read the bill, but many politicians don't even read bills before passing them, so why bust my chops? And you didn't answer my question.

Your question is based on a false understanding of the bill in question and is thus meaningless.

I'm not reading that long bill, and I suppose most voting on it won't either!

Out of all the potentially high priority stuff that needs to be done, they introduce a bill for this?

We have "Silver Alerts" here all the time. Most of the time they are found safe but on occasion, they're found in a ditch or floating in a lake after escaping their group home. It's always sad to hear

I will be honest with you, not only have I not read it, I have no intention of ever reading it because it is such an anathema to what I believe there is no way I could be convinced it is a good thing.

I did see this coming when I first heard about pet chipping and it being perfected there prior to human use.

Seems I have an old friend that is going to owe me a few bucks pretty soon.

Don't they already microchip or RFID the military? I remember hearing something about special forces or something getting it in their series of injections about 10 years or more ago.

EE Times 5/2003 has this article on USN using RFID in wristbands on wounded and talks about potential for use in dogtags in future, coupled with satellite monitoring for real time monitoring. RT.com 5/2013 article about tagging ME terror threats or their stuff and using satellites for munitions targeting.

Several articles over the years about RFID implants, like a bunch of pets have, most released during the annual Electronics and Entertainment Expo.

That's talking about Muslims wearing their stupid thing on their forehead with the Arabic saying.

Which I think is also phrophisied about in Revelation;

Revelation 20:4
......I also saw the people who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of God’s word, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands.....

Thanks for proving my point. You aren't mad at the bill, you're mad at the idea presented in this thread by someone who also didn't read the bill. And because you didn't read it, you are not equipped to actually discuss it.

What the bill says and what this thread portrays are very different.

Oh, and this word

anathema

Doesn't mean what you think it means

There are already devices you can put in the sole of shoes or in clothing that performs the same task. No need to inject it in someone. I have an autistic child and I would never allow him to be injected. We can track him by his shoes if need be and even then ONLY when we deem it necessary for where we are going and put those shoes on him.

I can already see NSA with access to the location database tracking half the population. You can track parents based on location of child etc..

Right now 1 in 60 boys are born Autistic and that number is growing rapidly. By 2030 it's projected to be 1 in 3. We should really be looking to get that under control instead of chipping them. Can you imagine in 2030 with 1/3 of the male population lo-jacked.

I think they are called wearables and they'll do more than keep track. They'll also send info on vital signs back to health care providers. Not a chip.

Furthermore, this isn't even a bill about establishing tracking programs. It's about funding agencies to develop the technology and systems to eventually do so.

Entire point of the op went right over your stupid head.
