What, no mention of lupus treatment…. Over 1.2 million Americans on ivermectin

unusual verbiage? you think it's weird having young folks on vent with Covid. What kind of nurse are you?
But since you chose to go there, your original post actually was odd.
It was odd because (1) Tube-fed meds are crushed, meaning (2) the odds of GI perforation d/t ulceration are infinitesimal with a med like ivermectin. Those are frankly not major risks. Citing them as such was strange.
The need to pause NGT suction allowing for absorption of tube meds does entail risk. There is a chance of GI fluid regurg and aspiration past a low pressure and/or leaking ETT cuff. Obviously aspiration in the face of CV19 ARDS would represent a critical complication.

Yep! Thanks. But that also helps with virtually zero side effects.

Remdesivir is not good- Never use it- It will shut down your Kidneys and you will die. All these doctors will lose their license when it comes out. Ivermectin is the way to go.

You are the only one making that point.
I’d say 98% hail the effectiveness of Regeneron.

So you want to ALSO review clinical studies in people. For example, Remdesivir, a favorite of Big Pharma, a failure against Hepatitis and the Respiratory Syncytial Virus, worked in a test tube against Ebola. Still, when they tested it in people, it was a dud – just as many died in the placebo group as the Remdesivir group – about 53%. So they tested it against COVID-19. A small study with 541 patients getting Remdesivir versus 521 on placebo showed no statistical difference in death and a 24% rate of serious adverse events in Remdesivir; however, against all odds, the FDA approved the drug for emergency use against COVID-19.

I hope the hospital becomes Pete Lopez Memorial Hospital.

Memorial Hermann is unable to comment on pending litigation or specific cases due to patient privacy laws. ... Data currently available does not demonstrate that ivermectin is safe ... Outside of ongoing clinical trials, the FDA, CDC and WHO discourage the use of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

Ivermectin works. I have seen it firsthand.
Many drugs are used off label for a variety of ailments.
My aunt had her life extended by taking viagra for COPD.

Yes, I did.
Yeah, I'd really like to see a double-blinded ivermectin vs remdesivir study. Won't happen though. Big Pharma would turn the study authors and any backing institutions into funding pariahs.

Is that what she told you? Maybe putting the "D" in COPD?
j/k

Believe it or not, viagra (PDE-5's) for treatment of pulmonary hypertension is actually not even off-label. e.g., If you tell your doc, you are planning a mountain climb at altitude and need pulmonary edema prophylaxis, he'll fix you up.

I am more in favor of nebulized food-grade H2O2 as a treatment
What's this, and how is it done?
Article with discussion of Hydrogen Peroxide treatment.
Safe and common-sense approach to upper respiratory infection. I haven't personally needed it for COVID, so I can't personally attest to it, but it is something I would try first...I already have a nebulizer.
