“Obstruction of justice” in this case is monumentally silly without some evidence of actually doing something “obstructive”. Like withholding evidence or claiming privilege or cutting off funds or suborning perjury etc.

What you have is an INNOCENT man being hounded for 3 years for an ALLEGED offense (not even a crime) that he DID NOT COMMIT. Meanwhile his family and associates are being harassed constantly by all the power the FED GOV can muster to bankrupt them. Imprisonments them. Destroy their personal lives. Inducing PUBLIC harassment and threats of violence.

In the face of all this Trump asks confidential questions about “how can we make this stop” and THAT is considered Obstruction of Justice??????

Look at the treatment of HRC which was the lead-in to this ‘investigation’ conducted by the SAME PEOPLE and tell me if you might could find anything there that could be ‘interpreted’ as obstruction.

The entire effort was (no longer calling it a hoax) a CRIME on the part of the OBAMA administration.

This "rule" only applies if it implicates a candidate. (For example...Hillary Clinton) There is no democratic candidate implicated as far as I can tell....so I don't think the "too close to an election" applies.....
