It will take individuals not watching for awhile for the NFL to see a decrease in TV money.

If corporate America quits buying season tickets and suites, the NFL will realize their losses quicker.

Bookmarked to laugh at all the posters here who comment in the NFL week 1 threads...

You're all phoney baloney blowhards.

You are what you claim to hate... Sensitive little snowflakes.

I hope you are smart enough to realize that the nation does not revolve around an SEC dominated political forum.

I'd love to see Vince McMahon telling the whole league "You'll stand on the sideline with your hand on your heart saluting Old Glory during the national anthem. Any motherfricker that hits a knee gets thrown out of the stadium by security and you never play another snap in this league." If that happened, I'd be a fan.

Pretty sure tv contract has clauses based on ratings.

Have a group of 40 guys i play tennis with regularly, all 30 to 60 yrs old. Everyone I know plans to not watch a game including Saints. We have already planned tennis and golf on Sundays

Of the 523 games in the NFL last year, I believe I may have watched less than 1%.

I've not watched since the kneeling started. And I love my Cowboys. Honestly, it has been hard, especially on the sundays that I wanted to just be lazy and lay around the house. But I've held strong. I know it didn't make much of a difference, but I still didn't watch those ungrateful cocksuckers.

I love Auburn, and I've spent money there for many years. From being a kid going to games, to being a student, then alumni. I absolutely can't imagine not wanting to watch them play on Saturdays, whether in person or on TV. If they do the SJW bullshite, I'm done watching them, and I'm done sending them money as well. I mean it and a lot of folks that have a way bigger budget than I do are on board too

You can’t. The amount of people saying they are boycotting is small and the amount that actually will even smaller.

I just Hope nationwide there are enough that quit watching to make an impact. And it is soon enough to have an impact on the political conversation.

Same here with Bama. I have written the University and Athletic Department personally to let them know they have a choice and they better choose wisely.

I haven’t watched much NFL in a few years. The last game I went to was four years ago. I more or less stopped watching after the 1/19 Saints/Rams merde. So, I’m done with those guys. A boycott is therefore easy for me. The problem is NCAA football and giving it up. I’ve gradually gotten away from it to a degree, but being a southerner, an SEC guy, and something of a traditionalist, it will be hard to not watch college football.
