Honestly, does anyone have any idea why

There is such a large push to force people to get vaccinated? Honest question...
If the vaccine is so great, then get it. No one is telling you that you can't get it. But then why exactly do you care if I get it? You are protected.....
I don't think I've ever seen something pushed so hard for so long. Makes me think there is something nefarious going on...

Dude, you're not going to fit in with those folks. Logic got thrown out the window back about March 2020.

Exactly. The excessive push for it is what pushes me away from it.

Conditioning.

I guess the idea is that if enough people get vaccinated, the virus will just go away.
But, mind you, even the Flu outbreak of 1918 didn't linger around this long, with no vaccinations.

Anyone who believes any word that comes out of a government employee's mouth is willfully choosing to play along at this point.

Because you have got to get in line with them and be just as fricking miserable as they are in life... It isn't fair that you are not scared of your shadow or not overweight...

When the government says it's for the best, chances are it's not.

They want to see what they can get away with and what it takes to get everyone to comply or be forced to comply. This is just a test run for something much greater.

Maybe we care about people other than ourselves
And can see the writing on the wall that all of you retards are going to have the COVID restrictions coming back

But we've already seen that getting vaccinated doesn't make the virus go away. Countless people are "fully" vaccinated or turning up sick. Some are still dying.

Please explain that statement to me. How exactly does you getting a vaccine prove you care about others more than I do?

The outcomes for the vaccinated who still get infected are much better than those who get infected for the first time
The overwhelming majority of hospitalizations and deaths right now are those not vaccinated. This can't be disputed

They were coming back regardless. Maybe in a different flavor of exaggerated emergency, but they aren't laying that power back at anyone's feet again.

I ask again, how does you getting a vaccine for YOURSELF prove that you care about others more than I do?

There no data on the effectiveness of the vaccine especially considering that 40-80% worldwide have natural immunity.
You still didn't answer his question.

Yep we are all getting a primer of what that universal healthcare will look like

My guess, is that herd immunity slows rapid spread so fewer people contract it so the virus doesn't have as many chances to mutate.
It's unknown how this virus mutates or if a future strain may be worse than what we have now.
That's why I think the push.
Also, it's expensive to treat in a hospital for those who do get very ill.

Couldn't you say the same thing for the yearly flu? Yet there is no push of this magnitude for the flu shot. No employers, other than possibly healthcare workers, mandating their employees get the shot. Also, that shot is FDA approved and has been around for years, unlike the unapproved MRNA vaccines we have now...
