Here in the lower 48, mama moose scare me more than bears. Any handgun less than a 10mm would be spitballing.

You can get a lot of different bullet weights (grains) of 30-06 round. All the way down to like 110 grain up to over 200 grain
Hornady makes a low recoil round in 30-06 with a 125 grain bullet. At 200 yards it's moving at about 2100 fps and has about 1200 foot pounds of energy.
That would be plenty deadly and not necessarily pass through.

Moose here live in the river valleys off the road system, dont normally deal with them.
But black and brown bears are literally everywhere.

Too many posts to read through them all.
You Tube video with a guy discussing plate armor of the chest. Excellent video.
Cliffs, bullet hits top of contoured plate armor, deformed bullet ricochets upward into neck creating larger than expected entry wound, no exit because it goes into head/brain and stopped by skill.
The entry into brain also explains this post-shot posture.
Side note. This type of body armor, while small enough to fit under a t shirt, is designed to be worn over a Kevlar liner to prevent shrapnel penetration like seen here

What happened to the theory that it hit his vest first and ricocheted up?
I thought maybe the bullet hit a microphone or something
I watched the below video this morning. He talks about the bullet deflecting downward amd exiting. He shows a portion of the video where it definitely appears that Charlie had a vest on and "something " (the bullet exiting) hits the vest (doesn't penetrate it) and pushes the vest outward which forces the t-shirt outward. So far, it seems the most reasonable explanation. IMHO

“He was dead nearly immediately, the internal trauma was catastrophic,”
This…
This…

I watched that. Most seemed reasonable,
Except
He’s saying bullet entered anterior moving posterior???
Is it not accepted it was posterior right entry, anterior left exit?
For folks that don’t get all the nomenclature.
30-06 Springfield is the cartridge
30 caliber/ .308/ 7.62mm is the bullet diameter

The most reasonable explanation is the official story. He was not wearing armor. Shot came from Charlie's left, slightly elevated. Bullet entered his neck, destroyed basically everything, went through his spine, and stopped under the skin.
He wasn't shot with artillery. He was shot with a .30-06 at close range with an unknown projectile that stopped under the skin. It isn't far fetched at all, and all of the evidence and footage tracks perfectly. The entrance wound only looked so massive because of the tremendous blood flow from it.
Qualifications: I have shot A LOT of things with centerfire rifles. Anything other than the above explanation is overcomplicating a simple matter and talking just to attempt to generate clicks.

He doesn’t want to get de-monetized by some content/streaming platform. That actually doesn’t explain at all why he didn’t just say “commit suicide” on this platform but that is the reason you hear it more often.

I disagree. It makes perfect sense.
Really? Did you bother analyzing anything about the event or go straight to accepting the entire narrative?

Let me ask you this, why would Trumps administration want to lie about this?
I wouldn't presume Trump's Admin had anything to do with the event theatrics and orchestration.

there is zero evidence that anyone other than Robinson was involved at this time.
But it will not stop the drama queens from creating drama.

Since when is demanding legit investigations and crime scene(s) forensics = drama?

You had one. You just refuse to accept the findings.

Believe what you must but this event was a total charade, sham, then a mockery of normal process AND routine forensic investigation. Slop and bad vaudeville.
It's shocking to see so many take your position of no-questions-asked.
We'll just have to move on and accept the "official" story despite the assertion of one wise poster, "It's all fake."

Because you can't educate even yourself.I shot deer with lighter rounds and similar rounds and have never retained a full bullet or much more than fragments..
If it had hit a breast plate MAYBE. But you will not be able to replicate this shot with those bullets to prove your point.
