Holy shite, Cao (Rep) is beating Wexton (Dem) by 56 points in VA-10 - spoke too soon

This is a district that Biden won by +18. Granted only 1% of the votes are in, but still...

Experts think:
If Repubs win VA-2, they will have a good night.
If Repubs win VA-7, they will have a great night.
If Repubs win VA-10, they will have an amazing night.

If Cao even loses but gets 47% then that's a bad sign for the Dems for the rest of the night. VA-10 is a bedroom community filled with liberal transplant Government employees.

Why can't that first 1% represent the remaining 99%? For all you know, the first 1% that was counted was a random sample in itself and can be extrapolated to the entire pool.

I always get a kick out of people who get excited/disappointed when 1% of the vote is posted

The 1% would be like a few precincts in NOLA or North BR reporting and showing that Gravy had a commanding lead.
