I follow some very leftist pages and they honestly believe that the Democrats are a very conservative political organization and Bernie is centrist left. By that definition, OP isn't very far off

It's amazing the shift that's occurred in politics over the last two decades. 20 years ago, most Republicans would have considered Trump as a lefty loon. Both parties keep drifting further and further left. It's sad.

Again, the Democrats have shifted so far left that liberals like Biden and Harris appear in the middle, and people actually in the middle of the political spectrum like Kasich look to be far right.
