It would end the DJT led “MAGA” movement.
The sentiments that preceded even Trump’s arrival will still be there for sure and those still motivated to participate would eventually find another banner/name under which to coalesce.
More than anything else though, it’d be a gift from above for the Establishment types. In their minds, they would have successfully weathered the storm, eventually still come out on top, and in no danger of losing their own long term grip on power.

I'll admit it is subtle. White Americans have the lowest birthrate for major groups in the US. So if we depend on the people who are here, we have to import people to maintain population. Admittedly this will play out beyond our lifetimes.

So you’re claiming we haven’t sent anyone to prison over an expired visa, or arrested people walking in or out of immigration hearings, or introduced legislation that makes some legals illegal while capping the number of immigration judges the country is allowed to have?

It wasn’t so subtle that I didn’t guess it. But there is a solution that does not require illegal immigrants, and that solution is legal immigrants. Immigrants that we choose for their good qualities.
I know there is a prejudice by some on this board to Indians, but Indians commit crimes at a very low rate relative to other immigrant ethnicities. Non-Muslim Arabs are a good cohort, as are Eastern Europeans and Central Asians (as long as they are non-Muslim). We should be selecting them like a sports team selects their draft picks.
