I understand the reactions I’m seeing right now: police forces that are hesitant to do their jobs in some circumstances, and officers who are leaving jobs and further weakening law enforcement in those areas. The result has been, and will be, more crime and less criminals apprehended.

Jeff Parish, and maybe Harahan more than JP, has strong law enforcement and I think our officers know they’re welcome and valued.
