That's total bullshite. Get a court order.

Dude. You do realize you can bunny trail the posts on TD, right?

Here's the claim you judiciously did NOT include in your quote

quote:

If so, that makes no sense. Why don't those areas with less restrictive gun laws have higher gun crimes, if availability is the issue?

Nice try. Wanna take a crack again?

You're confused. No one has to prove a negative. You seem to claim that more guns cause more gun deaths.
Prove it. With facts.

I didn't claim anything. Homeboy claimed the 2nd amendment saved more lives than it killed. I asked him to back it up. Learn to read.

I’m not sure I understand your argument. Guns and video games are both physical objects. Physical objects have psychological ramifications

A gun is an solely a physical object. A video game requires physical and mental engagement and only exists as a program.
To be clear, I'm not blaming video games for anything. I responded to your comment that they each had some psychological component to owning or using.

*rubs temples harder*

I do. Do you? That is his claim. My only original claim he questioned was that the majority of guns in Chicago come from outside Chicago. He's the on that interjected some other argument that I've ignored.

His assertion is that if the guns going to Chicago from other areas is the cause of Chicago crime then why are the areas the guns come from lower in crime rate.

You responding by showing the guns come from there does NOT address the claim.

I'm here assuming you are fully able to read. Don't pretend you cannot.

He's the on that interjected some other argument that I've ignored.
He's saying that you trying to blame the guns would tend to mean that they should be causing crime where they came from.

That's not another argument. Come on man.

The word is the kid used a shotgun and a revolver.

If this pans out as true, how can the left use this to go after guns without admitting they want all guns?

Two low capacity weapons, one being a hunting weapon.

Jesus butt fricking Christ, this is exhausting.

His assertion

Yes, exactly. His assertion, not mine. He's asking me to refute his assertion, which is why I've ignored it. He asked for evidence for my assertion that the majority of guns in Chicago come from outside Chicago, which I provided.

The damn liberals need to get hold of their little fricking beta bots they created and deal with them.

We law abiding people are not responsible and will not take responsibility for these little sick bastards.

Dude. You made an assertion "guns to Chicago cause the crime.

He said, "for that to be true, then this needs to be true and it isn't"

He didn't even rebut your assertion that Chicagoans get their guns from elsewhere. We KNOW that.

To quote you

quote:

Jesus butt fricking Christ, this is exhausting.

It's a natural response to say, "wait, if the problem in Chicago is because of guns from where they came from, why aren't the problems of Chicago also where the guns came from?"

You're just being obtuse at this point

The responsibility lies with the trigger puller. It doesn't matter where the guns come from.

Guns don’t require physical and mental engagement?

Only exists as a program? A program is 1s and 0s stored on a physical disk.

What mental illnesses will warrant taking ones guns?

Who decides if someone is mentally sound?

How long will they have to give up their guns?

Will there be an appeals process?

How do you ensure someone is telling the truth about their mental frame of mind?

If I go in knowing this person is going to have the ability to take my right to own a gun, why would I tell him about my depression? How do you stop this from happening?

I await your due response.

He specifically asked for evidence of the claim, which I provided and is where you butted completely misrepresenting everything I've said and accused me of not being able to read or follow a thread pattern.

Touche'

He, in fact, asked for evidence of Chicagoans getting their guns from elsewhere.

Let this be a lesson to you folks out there.

ShortyRob is just fine acknowledging a mis-read even if he came in strong on the thread.

It's just the next step in the process. Why can't you just use a sling shot to hunt with? Is there really a need for a shotgun to hunt?

Yep. I read back and despite having done so once earlier, clearly, had flipped the two bullets.

Took "evidence of claim" to be of the claim the guns were the cause and not merely that guns come from elsewhere.

Hey. Yep. Happens.
