Lets assume the lunacy is true of some posts regarding offensive language being used. It isn't, but just for shits and giggles.

You can't beat the shite out of somebody for using the n-word. And you don't have to let somebody beat you just because you offended them. Legally the white guy should be able to defend himself but with the world we live in right now, who knows how that would go.
Even if the story is correct, it is hard to the black guy's outrage seriously when he called the white guy the n-word about 6 or 7 times in 15 seconds.

And not once did he make it sound like he was angry about being called the word. Sounded like it was just part of his vernacular.
And the guy didn’t say the N word. He is wearing a mask while shopping for clothes
Lastly, words should not lead to being beaten up. Especially when this whole outrage started because resisting arrest should not lead to being killed. It’s scary that this behavior is being enabled.
