I don’t disagree with the OP in spirit- but we are not oil independent_ and that’s a good economic sign not a poor one.

We will be an importer of oil whether he says otherwise or not

Honestly, I don't know how anybody paying the least amount of attention to it, could think otherwise.

We're being played. And have been for a very, very, very long time.

The same Deep State that's run this country since (at least) 1913.

I guess that's true but I for one would prefer that we had a sound monetary system, so that our best and bravest could concentrate on keeping our country safe rather than risking their lives to prop up the Deep State/elite and keeping them in charge. All that does in ensure never ending conflicts and constant policing of the world.

The most laughable thing is we have enough oil in this country to last generations.
It's never been about getting the oil. It's always been about buying and selling the oil in dollars. That's what happens when you get off the gold standard and your dollar isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

I'm not buying the "literal Hitler" BS.

All Trump is doing is following Deep State orders (like Bush, Obama, and Biden before him) of breaking up BRICS and forcing regime change in those countries that refuse to deal oil in dollars (in addition to bringing their central banks in line with the globalist international banking system.

Yeah, that's the big question. It would appear that behind the scenes a digital currency is in the works.

“We” don’t have shite. Exxon, Shell, Chevron, ect have oil. Unless you are a communist and want to nationalize these companies or institute an export ban then they will continue to sell into the global market and price oil accordingly.

"We are tired of their bullshite and we finally did something about it. I spent the entirety of my first term, and the first year of my second, establishing US oil independence. We do not need Middle Eastern oil anymore, nor oil from anywhere else. Because of this, and because previous Presidents didn't do shite about their bullshite, I finally acted. For 50 years the Iranians have been doing their level beat to wage a unilateral proxy war against the US and because we were dependent on the Middle Eastern dynamic, previous POTUSes didn't do shite about it. So I maneuvered in and finished it.

If we are not dependent on oil from the region, and other countries are, then why are we fighting their wars for them?

That's not how the world has worked before now.

But I doubt you can give me a reason as to why it can't work that way going forward.
