Seems like they could have picked something far more egregious and important to indict Comey for.

We about to find out what constitutes a true threat. I guess some feel it is okay to promote such activity.

On May 15, 2025, Mr. Comey encountered an arrangement of seashells on a public beach in North Carolina spelling out “86 47.”

Although Mr. Comey did not know who created the arrangement, Mr. Comey came to understand the phrase “86 47” as a clever way of expressing political opposition to President Trump.

I have serious doubts they will end up considering these 8647 seashells a serious threat.

I pray you are right. Then we can make bank with t-shirts, caps, and all kinds of merchandise with 87** when another democrat POTUS is elected, though it might be a long while.

I pray you are right.

Exactly, if some libtard Ken, Karen, Sally by the seashore, arranged the shells...They would have taken the credit by now... They think it is a badge of honor.

I would bet fairy green giant arranged the shells with his wife. That string of beach homes in NC Is precluded to be more so non-democrats. AKA apolitical normal, or MAGA.

The arrogance of thinking this is believable is quite impressive.

I’m curious to see who responds on behalf of DOJ. I think the guy who singed the indictment eventually withdrew.

I was more curious to see which DC firms signed on. My guess was that at least one Wilmer Hale attorney would be on, but not so. Cooley has a similar profile, however.

It's nothing more than an harassment charge. No one except extreme MAGA or Trumpkins thinks that it goes much further. The alleged threat if any is too vague as well as having multiple meanings to constitute anything real. Saying "Someone should slap the shite out of President Trump" constitutes more of a direct and true threat.

It will be interesting if the FBI, under Comey, ever investigated any "86**" threats on another POTUS.

So were two formal impeachments of a sitting President, and myriad "fELoNy" indictments against the man who proves to be an existential threat to the political establishment rot throughout our federal government.

Was this before or after the attempt at assassination of Trump and members of his entourage during the White House Correspondents dinner?
