Obamacare virtually broke the system in order to put a few million losers on healthcare plans that didn't ask for nor actually need. So the dems plan is to fully destroy the greatest country in the world by putting everyone on a plan!!!I

What you and many others don't understand, other nations which have national health programs have less than 10% population of the US, so less expense to cover less people.. Norway has population of DFW. Sweden has population of 2 million more than NYC alone. And they have very large income tax percentages.

Well then why don't you explain to us how it will be paid for? None of your candidates can.

Will you explain that? Of course not.

47%

Maybe more than half the citizens in those other countries with nationalized healthcare actually pull their own weight instead of getting government freebies without paying into the tax system. You can’t expect universal healthcare to work when half the population is going to be burdened with paying for the other half and the vast majority of the US wealth is in the middle class, not the super rich

Has anyone here stopped to think what the problem is here? It isn’t healthcare supply. It is healthcare demand. We look at how to curb demand, we solve the issue.

why would you expect things to be equal over different countries when we're completely different than those countries?

just look at our obesity and violent crime rates and those 2 things alone will add a MAJOR cost difference with any other developed country

then add in our population's expectations of non-rationed treatment and it will be EXPENSIVE

Problem is corrupt lobbyists bribe corrupt CONgress and US has absurdly high pharmacy, hospital and medical rates.
Instead of dealing with the core causes, the solution is for more taxes and higher profits for providers. Keeps the bribes and payoffs coming to CONgress.

You apparently missed the Dem Debate where Biden stated that Warren's plan would cost $30 trillion. He also stated that for someone making $50k, their taxes would increase by $6k at least...If you made $100k, it would increase by $10k, again, at least.

Screw you socialists who think I'm going to pony up my hard earned cash so you can have what I work my arse off for!

Exactly.

I couldn’t imagine how much of a lister you’d have to be to think that Bernie Sanders is the right direction for this country.

Basically, it’s the equivalent of saying you give up. It’s pathetic.

It depends on individual circumstance, but there would be A LOT of net losers with a tax mechanism like this

I saw Warren wants a $20 trillion tax increase to pay for Medicare. Does she think that will make her electable?

Of course she does. She tells people, "Don't worry about it, that rich guy over there is going to pay for it."

Of course she hasn't said how she is going to define wealth, how she plans on collecting those taxes or how they will actually be used. Just that, irresponsible people get to stay irresponsible and the rich are going to pay for all the free stuff.
