Here are the supposed early voting numbers among 18-29

This was referenced in another thread but nobody had a link. Saw this on FL election guru and Dem operative Steve Schlage’s Twitter. This is the first piece of actual voting data I’ve seen that makes me worried. I don’t really get where this came from - will try to dig into it a little later.
My sense before this was that Trump looked like a lock in FL, looked great in MI, and looked okay in NC

why is this concerning?
these comparisons of 2020 to any other year in history is plain dumb

Well without context of other early voting ages it’s just a number, but initially we had been thinking that young voters were way down. I know that I had that impression.

As someone showed in the other thread, those numbers are completely wrong.
It's on MSNBC... 100% chance it's fake news.

Oh Jesus fricking Christ
The mining of info to find something to wring hands over is fricking tiresome.

It could be concerning but I would be more concerned if that little bit on the bottom right wasn't there.

why is this concerning?
Because that age group has been indoctrinated into socialism.
If those numbers are real, I too am very concerned.

Hopefully you’re right and this is bad data. I’ve never seen Tufts University mentioned or involved in national politics

Don't see what the big deal is. Across the board in all age groups there are more people voting early, absentee, or by mail.
And I don't believe that age group is entirely leaning Dem.
The large early turnout will reduce election day turnout.

I don't really think you can gauge much by this, it's a small amount of information. Young people generally vote more as democrats, but there's no telling this year.

Historically, mail in was a dem lean with Election Day being more republican. All that is off the table this cycle because people are voting early because of COVID. The polling in Florida and Michigan right now look great for Trump. Not sure about NC

that was my solid first impression

Look at the positive, it could be a lot of black and latino kids getting in on the Trump train.

This tweet states that the % of total votes cast from the youth vote so far is still lower due to the overall votes being cast are higher than 2016.

While I hadn’t seen this, and while it also could be that early voting for all age groups is significantly higher than 2016, the number of 18-21 year olds that I know that are early voting is alarming.
And, these are kids that all come from conservative families. Social media has really succeeded in brainwashing these kids.

Do you really think only 7,000 people 18-29 voted early in the entire state of Michigan in 2016? frick, just between all the universities and colleges in Michigan there's like half a million kids that age and you know they were getting them out early for Hildabeast.
