Herd Immunity, Rush discusses theory that California has low rate because

of infections in December and January from massive daily travel to and from China. Theory goes that many had Woohan virus and shook it off as a flu or cold, so not as many infections now that we are testing and promoting it. He stresses he could be wrong and it is just a theory.
Seems like a logical possibility. I think we can only know by testing people who got sick in December, January and February for the anti-bodies. I hope we do. It would help us understand this virus.

California has a low rate because Quest had only been processing half of the tests they have collected up to a few days ago. California's backlog with Quest is at nearly 60,000.

Buddy has his kid at IMG in FL and flew him back for break
He has asthma but was super sick went to the hospital was on a ventilator for like a week in the ER. Stuff was in his lungs. Wasnt the flu thought it was pneumonia but they said it waantb that either. They had no clue
The mother/ his wife then got it had to go to ER but was there for like a week thought it was pneumonia but it wasnt. Our entire office was sick for a week
Wife does makeup/facials etc and she got sick and had dry cough for like 2 weeks
I full believe that was it

I would like to have my family to have the anti-body test. A little over a month ago, something went through my household. Lasted about 2 weeks each.

I think there's some merit to the idea that Cali was hit first, then peaked just as we were figuring out what was happening, with the majority of the testing happening on the backslide.

The same would apply to S.Korea and Japan, too.
Which makes sense, because they both have low numbers despite taking vastly different approaches.

215 deaths through today in California.
That is ridiculously low no matter how many tests have not come back yet. 15% of tests are coming back positive so maybe they add 9,000 once all those are recorded

The Chinese virus was world wide by Jan, 10s of millions of people already had this thing and didn't even know it.

Somehow I doubt California is doing great because everyone already got it.
Pretty much everywhere this thing has been left unchecked you see at least some kind of major increase in the hospitals. Which, no one has shown happened in California in Dec of Jan.

Possibly, but the majority of people might not even get symptoms or so mild they don't know.

2 days before NYC, while having lots more China travel. I don't think that is the answer.
