Help me understand why The Donald is campaigning openly

I just don’t understand it. He must be throwing the Establishment a bone, but it is a trick he fell into. Rule of thumb- Never cross the isle with the left. They will never accept him

Because he knows Pelosi will be fricking terrible, knows she will motivate Republicans, and have campaign material to run against in 2020

Plus, the way the Democratic Party is structured now, Pelosi is relatively middle of the road. As hard as it is to believe there are a lot of dingbats in that party that would be much harder to deal with.

They will agree to nothing. Nancy Pelosi is going to endless investigate atrump hoping to find justification to hold impeachment hearings.

She will not be effective because this new wave of largely minority and female democrats do not want a wealthy old white woman leading them. They will self destruct.
