Yes, she’s smarter, more capable, and better looking than Cantrell. That’s why she was elected. People rightly see her as more competent.

But Ivan Vladimir Lenin was also competent. Moreno is a “democratic socialist”, aka a communist in disguise. She has received the full indoctrination and training to use the progressive feel good words that will spell even worse doom for the city.
You know the outsider that wasn't about the Leninism and Marxism?
Turned out well.

The death spiral is real; look at total votes cast.
The population might be down more than we realize, but the low vote totals are more indicative of an apathetic society.
In Dem cities, there are no real politics, and no functioning democracy. The majority of citizens simply watch the democratic news sources and do as they are told.
They only go to vote when stoked up by the news about evil monsterous Trump/MAGA/Republicans who are coming to enslave the women and minorities and eat their children.

He started out well, but he had weak moral character and the storm simply broke him.
I knew him well, especially post-Indictment.
Remember that cronyism is a scourge on both sides of the aisle. He was elected because the mood of the city was to counter corruption and to get someone competent at running a large organization. Not a bad thought.
But he didn’t work out.
The solution isn’t to double-down on socialism.

Not as cute as she used to be, especially with those pantsuits and the lesbian haircut.

Don’t you have a statue to tear down, or school to rename, or a store to loot? That’ll surely bring the rainbow!

She takes fashion notes from Hillary Clinton.

By far the best candidate. I think she will surprise some of you.
She will be more competent in governing
But she will also push some terrible policy

Jefferson Parish council members Scott Walker and Jennifer VanRanken (both from heavily R areas) have seemed to be pushing Moreno as well (VanRanken actually endorsed her publicly).
Just find that interesting.

Well good news is she can’t be worse than Cantrell. Can only go up from there

Helena Moreno still believes that women earn less than men for the same job with the same qualifications.
She wants MORE equity assistance for women and “minorities”…in New Orleans. Let that sink in.

He ran the local cable monopoly as a DEI hire (before DEI was a well known thing). Turns out, that’s not really capitalist or entrepreneurial
When he said he was a CPA but just never got licensed, I had a bad feeling

Yes, I have purple and pink hair and cut my dick off in tribute to my commie idols. WTF is wrong with you?
I said yesterday afternoon in another topic, "There is a negative correlation between number of posts on a certain board and ability to cognitively understand arguments." Another you.

The reported population of New Orleans is about 360,000, and about 100,000 votes were cast for the mayor’s race.
In Slidell, with a population of 28,000, only about 4,800 people voted for mayor.

Congrats on voting to keep New Orleans a disaster. Good job, idiots.
