What are you babbling about? Someone else (BoarEd?) started a thread that showed Massie moving to impeach Hegseth. The clip just showed Massie speaking about the War Powers Act. I said that couldn't be a High Crime on Hegseth's part. From that, I concluded that Massie was mostly grandstanding, but it might be useful to hear an actual debate in Congress about the Constitutional and statutory limits on the President's unilateral war making power.
I don't follow Massie that closely, so it wasn't until sometime later that I learned there were SEVEN OTHER ARTICLES of Impeachment. I posted them so others could see all eight grounds. The previous thread had been incomplete.
I didn't argue on behalf of Massie. I said it was a political stunt. In fairness, though, Article V at least listed an alleged "High Crime " which would fit the Constitutional requirement for impeachment IF PROVEN.
I used to enjoy comparing thoughts and evidence with you to try to understand things. I have no idea what happened to that person.

Right...as to the War Powers allegations. Are you not aware that there were EIGHT articles of impeachment?
In Article V, Massie alleges that Hegseth himself ordered or directed unlawful killings. So, yes, the allegations in Article V are about orders that Hegseth DID order.
I still don't understand what you're trying to say. As to Article V, Hegseth is not analogous to Lt. Calley or the Nuremberg defendants who also claimed that they were just following orders.

That you are naive if you think this isn't a setup to bipartisan impeachment hearings in a few months Meghan McMassie wants drumpf as much as Hegseth. It's why Dems are praising him.

Who? The President? Constitutionally and statutorily presidents are limited in their war making authority.
Practically, that's never been true, because almost all presidents have abused that power and Congress and/or the courts haven't been able to stop them.

Why? He believes Hegseth is the target of Massie and it's all for naught.
I says it's to setup bi partisan investigation and impeachment after the mid term elections.
