Listening to Massie speaking now, it's pretty clear that this isn't really even about impeachment.
His speech is a thorough, broad indictment of foreign intervention. This is a purely political act. Massie is hoping to launch his independent 2028 America First presidential bid.
They're only 428 people watching the stream that I am. Massie isn't getting the level of attention he wants.
Johnson's decision to close the House is about the only thing that will give this stunt much impact.

Rational people define TDS as "being against something just because Trump did it." It's an allegation of a double standard.
I was just pointing out to those criticizing Massie for being petty that if that is a bad trait in a politician, a rational person - NOT APPLYING A DOUBLE STANDARD - would have to rate Trump the WORST from that metric.
Here's what I wrote (without a trace of Massie worship or Trump disparagement...just comparing apples to apples):
"Massie is probably doing this just for revenge on Hegseth for campaigning against him. Is there anyone who practices political revenge more ruthlessly and successfully than President Trump?
Seeking political revenge is noble if Trump does it, but outrageous if another politician does it? And y'all accuse others of having TDS? Sheesh"

Try to keep up. This is an unprincipled, political stunt by Massie disguised as a motion to impeach (oh noes!!! IvoryBill is a MassHole!!!).
The only ground that had a chance of leading to conviction/removal was Article V about the killing of survivors. If Massie had been serious about impeachment, he would have filed the motion shortly after that incident.
Instead, he got his feelings hurt that Hegseth flew to his district to campaign against Massie and waited for the right time to seek impeachment.
Embarrassment of Hegseth and launching his independent, America First presidential campaign are what motivated Massie.
So, this is not about impeachment. Any questions?

Again, try to keep up. It's not about impeachment. It's Massie being unprincipled. He is doing this for political and revenge purposes.
