I'm not sure of the exact procedure, but I think he can be recalled and retired in the grade of his last honorable service.

I know of a couple of cases of this, the first was an Air Force one star whose wife got fed up with his antics...he was retired as a Lieutenant Colonel...

The second was a National Guard Colonel who played fast and loose with billeting allowances while on active duty, his clearance got pulled while he was in Iraq and he was forced to come home where he was retired as a Lieutenant Colonel as well.

If an officer is forced to retire for the good of the service, odds are his retirement grade is at least one below what he/she is serving at.

This is petty and dangerous. It’s more evidence that this administration is more interested settling scores than effective governance.

Republicans presidential nominee Donald Trump’s security team allowed two assassination attempts on his life. You let me know when Miley is grazed by a bullet from a rifle, and then we can talk about how petty and dangerous this is. While we are at it, we can talk about how petty and dangerous it was of Dementia Joe and his myrmidons to assign the retard team to Trump.

Your politics notwithstanding, how could you possibly, with a straight face, defend Mark Milley? He told the communist Chinese, our greatest geopolitical foe, that he would tip them off against the orders of his own CiC if we ever wanted to launch an attack on Beijing. MacArthur was sacked just for voicing disagreement with Truman on engaging the Chinese in Korea.

It’s tantamount to treason. He’d be hanged for this in any other era.

Big Lloyd was my Brigade Commander when I was a pink panther.

Great leader. Quiet leadership style.

Milley is the poster general of why many enlisted men don’t respect high ranking officers. Him and his kind have kissed politicians arse their entire military career and don’t give a shite about anybody else. Especially low ranking NCO’s. He’s supposed to be a soldier and can defend himself.

If that’s what happened put him back on Title 10 and let’s have a Courts Martial. Get all the facts out in the open. I bet that doesn’t happen.

If? He admitted it. He was proud of what he did.

Dems shouldn’t complain about this. Milley is extremely fortunate to get off this easy.

But Hartzler interrupted him and said she understood the intent of the call. “Did you or did you not tell him that if we were going to attack, you’d let him know?” she pressed.

the general said. ??”I said, hell, I’ll call you.”

If you feel that way, why bitch about this kid glove treatment?

This is what I can’t understand. It’s like you want it both ways.

Some scores must be settled. He betrayed the president and the country in an effort to appease a foreign country. Whether it happened to trump or biden, it doesn't matter. It's extremely dangerous having a very high ranking official undermining the chain of command and taking it upon himself to be the end all, be all.

Clearly. Why wasn’t he reprimanded by Biden?

How far are we willing to go in the name of politics? A guy like Flynn gets ruined over a lie, while Milley the traitor gets to walk around unscathed. It’s just not right.
