The original.
I went, I heard... I've heard it on the radio or on a show before... catchy beat, off putting lyrics. Maybe I'll go try the Cash version, I liked his rendition of Hurt.
edit... went to Cash version... boy I love me some Johnny Cash but that was awful. I am not seeking out the Marylin Manson version.

Gay guy at pride parade hugging guy in John 3:16 hat.
Jesus died for gay people too.
What’s the problem?

Who said there was a problem. Provide quotes that say this or realize you are an idiot.

There are no gay people, just sinners who need to be saved.
Pride will hold you back from Christ.
Pride is a sin.
This pushing of a God who serves us is blasphemous to Nicean Christianity.

Even Reznor liked it. I like both fairly equally as they hit different and are both awesome.

The title of the thread said it is blasphemous. You said it was pro-pride because a guy in a J316 hat was hugging a gay dude. How is that pro pride.
Seems to me you’re saying that’s a problem .

Jesus was more than willing to eat and converse with sinners, but he always admonished them to repent, and never once did he condone their sin.

They somehow pick a song that's anti-Christ in part and whole.
Personal Jesus is anti-Christ?
I mean they did it badly imo but anti-Christ? Explain.

Pride parade homie.
The church loves sinners of all types coming to Christ and leaving their sins behind.
No one who comes to Christ is gay, they are just forgiven.
He has forgiven murderers (David)
Adulterers (David again)
That's the Gospel, saying one can take Pride in one's sin and still have a relationship with Jesus is extremely blasphemous.

According to songwriter Martin Gore:
It's a song about being a Jesus for somebody else, someone to give you hope and care. It's about how Elvis Presley was her man and her mentor and how often that happens in love relationships; how everybody's heart is like a god in some way. We play these god-like parts for people but no one is perfect, and that's not a very balanced view of someone, is it?

My issue with the campaign is that it only presents half of the grace-obedience/truth dynamic of Christianity. And in doing so it arguably recreates Christ in our image of how modern evangelicals like to "sell" Christianity.
I'm not sure that is blasphemous or heretical (it could be), but I firmly believe you win them to what you win them with. And I suspect the creators do too, and in that sense they know they're "winning" people to Christ (if at all) using an incomplete picture of the Gospel. What, exactly, are we being rescued from?
Now, if I were inclined to be more generous toward the campaign, perhaps you could argue that it's not excusing the sin of anyone shown - the message is that Christ can save the "trans" person the same as He can the hateful bigot. And that both are flawed and need saving.
But I do think the average person will view it through the lens of our culture and how we usually portray things on television. There is a good guy and a bad guy. The black guy yelling is the good guy - he's probably oppressed and justified and Jesus is there for him. The white guy yelling is a bad guy, a bigot most likely, and he's the hateful actor/environment that the black guy needs Jesus to evade.
