I did too but emails, calls, and billboards wont work. We need to rally against these guys and rally around their opponent and vote these guys out.

You're happy the repeal got voted down, or do you have it backwards and thought this was to make vaxxing a law?

Senator Pope did not even show up and Republican Senator Mills did not vote.

fricking massive pieces of shite these two are.

It ought to be against the law to not even show up to a vote as a member of the legislature.

Tune it to Moon Griffon tomorrow, it'll be hilarious listening to him shred this worthless POS !

Definition of a RINO. Changed his affiliation after Obama b/c he couldn't get elected as a DEM. A punchable face if there ever was one. I hate all of the locals talking about this guy how he is so good to the community ..... When it counts the POS showed his true colors.
He voted for his sorry arse to make money at the expense other peoples' children.

It’s worse than that. He had a bill that would have codified Honor Choade’s EO that totally fricked up the ITEP program. As if he isn’t running enough jobs across the Sabine anyway. Now why would anyone calling themselves a Republican be carrying Bel’s water on a matter universally hated by the business community?

So this applies to private schools as well?

For the initial Covid mandates, our particular BR private school has a very conservative board and put all the correct wording on their website to be “in compliance” with the governors Covid BS but didn’t enforce any child not wearing masks at the ground level for instance.

Is this a similar situation if the particular private school is not on board with mandatory Covid policies?

Unfortunately it applies to all schools including private but I would imagine at private schools students have a little more wiggle room

It’s just amazing — are there any other states with this mandate besides us and California for schools?

I hope all those Republicans that voted for governor honor code see the error of their ways and vow to never vote Democrat ever again. Then like everyone else has mentioned we have these feckless Republicans-with friends like these who needs enemies?

That’s how billboards help. Most voters have no idea the opt out isn’t really an option for their kids if they want a legitimate and effective educational experience.
