If any still exist it’s probably very secret. But the members of such organizations weren’t trailer trash like you’d think. Most were successful businessmen, sheriffs, local politicians. At least in Mississippi it was that way

I’ve met a lot of folks who thought black and brown folks were something less supreme than white. Technically that makes them a white supremacist. In practice they weren’t the kind of venom spitting, klan member types one may expect them to be, but rather a person who gets along with POC just fine, even friends or colleagues with them, just they somehow think white people in general are better is all. I don’t feel the same, but that’s how it goes.

Once when I was on the car business.. I had a guy come in my office sit down and wait patiently to give me card and invite me to a rally..
Needless to say I was floored, shocked and amused all at the same time.. I did keep the business card in my wallet as a novelty to take and and show people and getva laugh. Unfortunately I dropped that wallet into false river while jet skiing.. Now I probably couldnt bust that card out today b/c some snowflake would have and aneurysm...
This was 2002 btw..
