Happy Lord’s Day! Hope everyone is able to go to church and honor Him today!

For those who aren’t Christians: today is the day of salvation! While your many sins against God deserve His eternal wrath, in His eternal love, He has sent His Son, Jesus, to do what we could not to obey the demands of the law. Jesus paid the debt we owe for our sins on the cross and will grant His perfect righteousness to anyone who trusts in Him by faith.

Turn from your sins and submit to Jesus and you will have eternal life this very day!

Goodness. If that’s you, I wish you peace and serenity.

We could all use a little Jesus.

You don't need a day of the week to praise the Lord!

Here's scripture that I think applies to Tiger Droppings.

"Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will learn the truth." (2 Timothy 2: 23-26)

Even on the cross Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they're doing." (Luke 23:34).

Showing love while under attack is something I often fail at doing. The recent discussion among believers showed a lot of patience and maturity and I'm proud that the discussion remained mostly cordial and truth-seeking.

I should have showed El Gaucho some love, but trolling in a serious religious discussion crossed the line for me. Sorry, Gauch. I'm a work in progress.

I realize that which is partly what fueled my immediate visceral response. Having said that, I need to temper those instincts.

I have no peace on the morning of time change shift. It takes a half hour to change the clocks inside my 2 cars. I remember when car owner manuals were under 20 pages. Now they're 800 pages.

Is this your above the fray post even though you have the same voting priorities as an illiterate Somalian?

I have been unnecessarily snippy lately as well. I must remember that without Love, I am nothing. (1 Cor 13:2). Self-control is a fruit of the spirit. (Gal 5:22-23). I need to pray for this Spirit (Eph 6:18) and I will get the help I need.

quote:

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever — the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."

No. My original post reflects my usual Sunday morning mood after mindful meditation and spiritual practices.
