I think I rather the Asians. I have a soft spot for them, especially the SE Asians (Vietnamese, Laotian and Thai) They are really good people....you wanna talk about people who don't like food stamps,/ SNAP. Very few use them comparatively.

Yet right now in these ICE raids the Vietnamese community is quietly getting fricked with....in particular the older generation(s)

As far as sheer numbers, though, there were always more French who came and actually settled here, which is one of the issues the Spanish had in governing.

People coming to this country who hate it, that hate our culture and have cultures that cannot assimilate should not be allowed in. Vietnamese came here after the war and assimilated like all other cultures and nationalities before them who wanted a better life and did not want to recreate what they left,

Cubans, Irish, Slavic, Italians, Lebanese, Puerta Ricans etc, brought aspects of their culture - music food and style. They did not demand the country change and that we adopt their religion and cultural norms. They adopted our norms.

Anything counter to this is suicide.

The lack of forced assimilation is the biggest failure of this country.

It directly lead to the destruction of this country.

My ancestors came here from Scotland, Sicily and Armenia and never called themselves hyphenated Americans. They were proud to call themselves Americans. Most if not all that came in their generations and before were like that.

America stopped being the melting pot when people started coming here and not wanting to be American, only to take what America offered. Every western country that failed to protect it's culture and heritage has lost it and America is next.
