Seems to be acceptable for talking heads to keep saying this like it’s a fact. What am I missing here? Are people really buying this?

All they can say is he failed, they won't say what they would have done differently

They need to enforce the idea that original estimates were 10x where are currently at.

They’re all in on him “hiding the truth” about the virus. But what I want to know is wtf did he not do that he should have?

Not any worse than any other president in any other pandemic.

Biden and Harris obviously don’t think so: they plan to steal his plans on how to react to covid, and then place everyone in lockdown. Obviously, he must be doing something right to have Biden plagiarizing. Good call out tonight on that Mr. VP!

This Woodward thing is a bad look. Otherwise nobody can say anything they were calling for at the time that he didn't do.

Same people who believed Trump failed in handling the virus talk up Cuomo’s performance.

That says it all right there if you know anything about Cuomo’s performance.

Fauci and Birx said in early April best case scenario was 2-300 thousand dying and the timeline was soon. I think we’ve done pretty good as sad as it is people have died

Whenever he took action to ban travel to/from China they went to their favorite line of racism. What the hell can you do to stop an airborne virus? It was going to run its course regardless and this country prides itself on personal freedoms so you can't just force people to stay in their homes for weeks on end.

Bunch of morons say this is his fault, would've happened under Biden too.

People think the Presidency is some magical being that is responsible for everything. The fact is: Liberals refused to self-quarantine and marched in the streets elbow to elbow, shoulder to shoulder when it was convenient and worth something they thought was important.

There is a notable spike in COVID cases during the protests.

Furthermore: We, as a country, are the third most populous in the world. People constantly talk about New Zealand but we have three times as many illegal immigrants as they have a general population.

America is a huge country with tons of tourists every year and we were never going to be able to contain a virus easily without radically reshaping how our entire society functions, which, let's be honest:

We're not in a dictatorship, we can't just wave a magic wand and change things at will like that. Any President was destined to "fail", period.

We are also the only top ten population to accurately report numbers.

Japan straight up said "Don't ask, don't tell", Indonesia had thousands of burials higher than their reported numbers.

Even here in Mexico City, we had over 8,000 more death certificates than the average and they didn't report them. It's just a big ol' clusterfrick.

He hasn’t.

I think that there’s a couple points of improvement that could be made. But that’s 20/20 hindsight.

Pence called her out on that.

"Biden plagiarized the actions President Trump took"

Right between the eyes. Again and again.

20% of the world's deaths, only 4% of the population. In spite of the USA supposedly having the best medical care in the world.

So your saying Trump failed? What should he have done differently?

Didn’t we have studied that said 2 million people would die from covid? These people have to tell us which it is. Did trump save 1.8 million lives, were these studies completely bogus.

It was a virus nobody knew a damn thing about. Be fricking thankful this didn't come out during a Biden presidency.

As for Canada having a smaller death rate, it is nowhere near as populous as the US. Common sense would tell you that it wouldn't spread as easily there as here.
