The Civil Rights movement, going back to the founding of the NCAAP, was financed and led by the Jewish community. If you’re being generous, you could say it was about a commitment to principles, but the reality is that it was about power, and dividing the country.
The Bolsheviks did the same thing in the Soviet Union, they promoted ethnic minorities at the Russian majorities expense, and made Russian culture and identity a taboo.
The point here is that it’s not an organic movement that comes out of the Black community, and that in the absence of funding and outside leadership, there isn’t much to it.
