To take this video clip without context as defining the entire event is to ignore all other videos that show clear acts of violence against the capitol police.

Doesn’t make the storming of the capital right though, that was a black mark on our nation for sure. That said the Dems are definitely spinning it to their advantage calling it an insurrection etc.

Precisely. Because the press and Left have so badly manipulated the situation, there is zero unanimous agreement as to the course of events that day and significant doubts will pervade ad infinitum. That being the case, conclusions are pretty much in the eye of the beholder. The only way it's a permanent "black eye" to the Right is if one thinks in their own mind that it is.

There's allegedly hundreds of hours of security cam footage that shows claims by Dims of an insurrection are patently false. The Capitol police have refused to give that video up for scrutiny.
