Has there ever been a school shooting at a private school?

Just wondering.

I was wondering that myself yesterday. I'm sure there has been, but all of the big ones seem to have been at public schools.
ETA: Which makes sense obviously. I'd imagine 75-80% of American high school kids attend public schools.

Are you thinking that insanos don't ever attend a private school?
Cruz's public school was in fairly affluent part of Florida. Would be considered private school quality in much of the South.

Private schools can instill values public schools can’t. It’s not just a money thing.

No dude. He's just asking the question. If the answer is no then we should figure out why. Everything is a fricking gotcha these days. Why nothing will get done.

Insanos may attend private schools, but they can get kicked out much easier and quicker at the first display of their insanoness. I don't think it's really as much of a socioeconomic thing.

Maybe the public school has better diversity ( ) but no public school is as good as a private

Ding ding ding, values, morals, more involved parents RAISING children.
I also think the movement away from the Church and God being so prevalent plays a part.
Church, regardless of what your beliefs are, teaches order, caring, and discipline. Those things are all pretty common threads that are missing and one of the only things that can actually fix the underlying problems leading to these incidents.

The entire premise of this thread is a "gotcha". Let's not pretend that this was started as some innocent question.
And the answer is that private school children will mostly come from more affluent households which also tend to have more stability and parental structures in place.
It isn't a difficult answer.

There was one at a private Christian school here in Tuscaloosa back in 1998.
LINK
That school ended up changing its name to American Christian Academy.
I did not go there (I went to a city public school), but both my kids went to ACA for a few years. They had plans and drills for what to do if it ever happened again....

I don't know about private high-schools, but there's been numerous shooting at universities (which require tuition and thus are "private" in a sense). Virginia Tech shooting was the deadliest in history at that point.

Even affluent public schools are not considered private school quality in the south.

Somebody mentioned private schools instilling values. That's an interesting thought. Another is that I'm sure public schools tend to have better security than private schools, but private schools haven't had any school shootings that I'm aware of.

Private schools teach differently than public schools. Public schools have to follow curriculum set by Dept of Education.
If your kids go to public school they get force fed left/liberal. In private schools they don't unless you agree with it. If you don't, you pull your kids out.
Also, private schools don't tend to put up with kids with behavioral issues. Also, private schools tend to have their own security. I know of several private schools in Houston that have armed HPD officers on site and in hallways all the time. They are out front when the kids are dropped off and out front when kids are picked up.
