Has there ever been a mass shooting at a gun show?

Mass shooters target unaware, unarmed victims. They target clubs, social events, and schools. They don't come up and shout, "I'm gonna shoot ya'" and then wait to see if anyone comes at them with a gun.

Kind of amazing with all those guns in one place. You’d think at least one of them would cast its magic powers and turn someone into a mass killer.

Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield were killed at a gun range, but that wasn’t a mass shooting incident.

I really don’t think these kids are targeting schools because they are "soft targets", they do so because that is where their peers are and that’s who they want to lash out against. Some of you are really overthinking the amount of strategy put into these shootings.

Schools aren't the only soft targets, and yes people are selecting them at least in part because they are soft.

I had to take a criminology class in college and the entire class was about school shootings and other mass shootings. The professor preached, that a shooter is only going to go into a situation where he/she knows that they are in control. We also duck deep into the mind of a school/ mass shooter and it was fascinating.
we also talked about situations when the shooter is confronted by someone with a concealed carry weapon (like at a movie theater or restaurant), he almost always freezes up because he is no longer in control of the situation.

But you’re underthinking it. You think if schools were tougher targets they would still target them as often?
