Had it even been established that he had a holster?

It's been eatablished that he had no ID and was not carrying his CCL, both of which make carrying concealed in MN a crime.

None of that really matters more than this foot soldier's efforts to get himself killed for muh cause.

So if you don’t have your drivers license, the officer can shoot you for operating a deadly weapon?

Who would have thought in 2026 the freaking Dems would defend the 2nd Amendment and MAGA would support the State…insanity

. No but does mean he was illegally carrying said weapon.

Social media is abuzz with posts that he was legally carrying- if he don’t have id or mn state permit on his person while carrying that is illegal

The agent took his gun from him where it was stored in its holster that he was legally carrying with a permit.

Negative he did not have his permit or photo id on his person, therefore he was NOT legally carrying.

He's wearing a zip hoodie. Not body armor.

No. You want to try again? Maybe read it slower?

Please explain why someone who goes out looking for federal officials to harass while armed with a firearm, high capacity magazines, body armor, and no identification would not be considered a suicide mission.

I remember this board losing its mind to declare that this guys human rights had been trampled on in the same city recently.

“if he don’t have id or mn state permit on his person while carrying that is illegal”

Has it been established that the permit was from the state of MN

I ask because, you know, he didn’t actually have a permit on him. And he is from WI.

I’m not sure why this point’s relevant, they didn’t check for ID and then shoot him.

What mystifies me is people unwilling to say the officers did anything wrong. It can’t be proper procedure to bludgeon the man in the face the way they did, push the woman down how they did, to disarm and lack of communication…

Even if you believe they were justified in shooting him, are those the ways in which we want law enforcement behaving?

If you point the vehicle in his direction and accelerate from a short distance yes.

One of your other heroes had this happen to her just the other day.

In her case the dog in her vehicle ended up with a tasty snack in the back seat with him

The points relevant because it demonstrates a pattern of lawlessness and recklessness on the part of Pretti. It was followed by additional lawless and reckless moves on his part that ultimately led to his death, which he is primarily culpable for

Nobody is saying there weren’t other mistakes made or that everybody else involved was perfect. We are addressing the idiots who want to call this “murder” when it was a tragic death caused primarily by the actions of the dead guy

You can make all the statements you want about his background, but it doesn’t excuse the shooting.

If I shoot a random guy on the street who happens to be a rapist with no knowledge of such, no one’s going to say it wasn’t murder because I was protecting women.

His background doesn't excuse the shooting. His actions do a lot of that heavy lifting.

I don’t know, I think it’s reasonable to assume someone who’s been maced and in the process of being clubbed in the face might not immediately drop exactly how they want. Also, they shot him within a minute of the encounter.

He was on his hands and knees, we’re not even sure exactly what instructions he was receiving or if he could even make them out in all the noise and you know…the repeated blows to the face.

I wish you pussies would just say you like it when the federal government murders your perceived enemies. Most of you would be just fine if they fired into a crowd of protesters.

He went there to interfere. It was literally his mission. He was engaged in it previously and was injured in his efforts. It's outrageous to think this was a regular CCL.guy that got caught up in a bad situation. He wanted the situation. It was the goal, as explicitly described by his organization.

Pick a bettwr martyr. This dude was a fricking loser.
