Regardless of the polls, I really haven’t talked to one person who’s openly going to vote him in the primary and many have stated they won’t vote him in the general if he’s the nominee. Just like the polls showing him behind Jeb for so long and those having Hillary running away in 2016, I just don’t have much faith in the polling data during this point in the process.

This isn't so good for Trump and explains why he needs DeSantis to drop out and for as many of the others to stay in as long as possible. DeSantis dominates as the 2nd Choice for people not voting Trump and he is winning undecideds. This of course is National as well which is basically irrelevant in a state by state race that unfolds gradually. Most of these folks surveyed won't vote until after the early primaries and the race will look very, very different by then.
