Has anyone seen the whole “pronouns” thing in real life?

I feel like I would laugh in someone’s face if some pussy introduced himself and said “he/him” after his name

Does this happen IRL?

I've heard it happen in Zoom meetings.

I have yet to have someone question why I wasn't listing my pronouns. Those that work with me know it probably won't end well for them if they do.

Imagine trying to contain your disgust when asked this in a professional setting.
LMAO!

Eta, they probably weaponize the question to flush out "nazis" and science believers by facial reaction.

Yes, we got some resumes with them. They were promptly thrown in the trash.

I'm currently living under a rock. Could you give me an example of how this is used?

Seems to me it's being pushed by the younger folks where I work. Higher ed did a good job of endoctrinating a generation or two. Clown world.

Anytime I see it, I cannot help but think of this video.

These people live amongst us.

Was at a meeting and we had to introduce ourselves, the facilitator requested that we declare our pronouns or what we identify as as one of the things we say. Of course I was called on first and proceeded to ignore it and assumed everyone would know that I was a a male that identified as a man.

My company's VP of Diversity started adding it to his email signature, along with celebrating everyone who is not a straight white male. All of his emails now go to deleted items as soon as they hit my inbox.
