yeh, Joe Horn basically said I like him as a person, but he is not entitled to this opinion and I am waiting for his apology. Better than some of the other ones that threw a hissy fit, but not exactly support.

Agreed.

Listened to Golic and Wingo yesterday morning. They didn’t necessarily defend him but they were discussing how his statement wasn’t controversial at all and how dumb it was to be causing a huge ordeaL and how social media is the devil and all that Jazz

Yep, just as NFL ratings were starting to come back, these spoiled entitled athletes can't help themselves but to pull the rug out from under their own feet again. As I mentioned earlier, Brees should have declined to comment. Now he's despised by both the left who are never passified, and by the rest of us on the right who are disappointed that he apologized.

Defense of Brees
Marcus Davenport
Joe Horn
Tony Dungy

Notice that no white athlete dare to speak up. This is what I mean when I said there’s a hidden monster that’s silencing and controlling people.

Drew Brees has probably done enough charity work and development for low income communities in the wake of Katrina and to current date than the clowns that are roasting them have done in their entire lives combined.

And that's where some of these guys need to get an ounce of courage and call those that attack Brees out. How much money and time have you given to the poor minority community. If you haven't met Brees' standard then as Biden said: "You ain't black."

Let them defend that because now you either have to side with Brees or call Biden out for his statement.

Has any other chicken shite mo fo like Jenkins done tangible things for the community that he lives in like Brees has done?

Brees donated 5 million that is allocated to feed people in S.LA, mostly New Orleans which means mostly black. He did this a few months ago. What have frickers like M.Thomas, Alvin Kamara and Malcolm Jenkins done?

.....waiting

What's happened to Drew Brees is just a taste of what's in store for the people of the USA once Leftism consolidates more political power.

A few days ago somebody posted some pics of people being publicly humiliated and shamed in Red China during Mao's reign -- the USA is headed down that path.

Biggest shock of the whole mess to me is the lack of support from:

Gayle Benson
Sean Payton
Brees’ agent should be ripping into the Saints front office behind the scenes after all he’s done for that franchise and them leaving him out to dry, but meanwhile the Bills immediately came to the defense of their rookie 5th round backup QB who said something stupid a year ago that resurfaced and made it to the news

The majority rules. If you disobey you will pay. Stand with us or you're against us. The way they are treating Drew and the antics for all sports that's most defiantely coming will be a chokehold on themselves. The public will turn the TV off and something other than watching their protest and district respect for this country.

Does anyone know what Colston had to say?

Someone pointed to it as noteworthy, but I have no idea why.

This is a book I read back in a college Chinese History class—back before universities were full-on commie propaganda outlets, I guess. (That old Chinese professor hated him some commies )
Highly recommend reading or giving to others to open their eyes to the parallels between China’s Cultural Revolution and what we are seeing in America today. Also the Red Guard and Antifa.

Nope. And that's why you better realize this time is actually different.

quote:

After the Hurricane Katrina ripped through the state causing $125 billion in damage and the deaths of more than 1,200 people, mostly in the New Orleans, Brees helped rebuild the city through his foundation.

He announced a partnership with Operation Kids in an attempt to rebuild and recreate academic facilities, parks, playgrounds, athletic centers and after-school programs. He was also applauded for helping to revitalize and restore child care projects in New Orleans.

He has donated 5m dollars for covid relief in LA:
quote:

On March 26 Drew and Brittany announced they are making a $5 million commitment to the state in 2020 in the wake of the coronavirus that has gripped the world.

The veteran New Orleans Saints quarterback made the following announcement on Instagram on Thursday: “After considerable research and conversations with local organizations, we will be mobilizing our partnerships with Second Harvest Food Bank, Ochsner Health Systems, Walk-Ons, Jimmy Johns, Smalls Sliders and Waitr to prepare and deliver over 10,000 meals per day throughout Louisiana for as long as it takes to children on meal programs, seniors, and families in need. Let’s all do our part, maintain hope, and get through this together.”

quote:

When Sports Illustrated selected him for the 2010 Sportsman of the Year award, it said the award was "[f]or not only leading the New Orleans Saints to the first Super Bowl title in the franchise's history, but also for helping lead the city of New Orleans' rebirth after the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina". The fact that he and his family lived in New Orleans proper, instead of the suburbs like many players did, further endeared him to fans.

quote:

In 2003, Brees and his wife, Brittany, founded the Brees Dream Foundation to support cancer patients and research in memory of Brittany's aunt who died of cancer. Since Brees' move to New Orleans, the foundation has expanded to provide assistance for Hurricane Katrina rebuilding projects

quote:

In June 2010, President Obama appointed Brees to be co-chair of the newly renamed President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, along with former Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes
I wonder if Obama now regrets this.

quote:

In October 2010, Brees appeared in an It Gets Better video, in which he gave an anti-bullying message in the wake of a series of suicides committed by gay teenagers

He also gave 1m to Hurricane Sandy victims in Long Island.

He's obviously a horrible person that only cares about himself.
