Bro be honest. People in the media were saying how weird it was to ask for a debate in June and said this is a way to possibly get Biden of the ticket. I even DM Lara Trump begging her to tell Trump not to do the debate for this specific reason. It didn't work I wonder if she even read it

This is not correct. Trump is leading Hispanics by 10 points in NYT and CNN latest polls. Trump has the most to lose. If Kamala was leading Hispanics by 10 points she wouldn't be doing this event

Bro be honest. Didn't you also think "well, Biden is the one wanting to do it so he can't be sabotaging himself, can he?"

Dr. Jill showed once again why people are so many Americans hesitant to vote for a woman for president.

Kamala is facing the same problem. Being unlikable has buried her.

Worry about them killing Trump because that's the only way they can stop him now.

No I thought this is a no win situation. Trump loses the debate and it hurts him, he wins the debate and they pull Biden and all the money and campaign strategy to beat Biden goes down the drain. It was literally the dumbest political decision I have ever seen. I love Trump and am full MAGA but that debate decision left me questioning what the hell is going on

Fair enough, because I had the same questions and doubts. However....

It was still a dumber political decision for Biden to do that debate than Trump because Biden literally killed his candidacy by doing it in June.

There are ten other dumbest political moves in history by merely the Democrats in this one election cycle before one should even consider any move from Trump in the same period.

I agree, but Biden was losing that election regardless of any decision he made. It was a inconsequential decision for Biden. For Trump it turned out to be very consequential. Regardless if Trump wins, he made it very hard on himself and the campaign. He would have been announcing his cabinet members by now if Biden was still in the race

It's going to be alright. Trump is going to win. Pray for his safety.

I don’t think this is a trap

Reason: Univision is the only mainstream news on TV in Spanish- they know they will piss off half their viewers and that news network simply can’t afford to lose half their viewers like abc / Disney can afford

And I'll add, once we get him back in the White House, they are not going to frick with him because Leftists are more terrified of JD Vance.

Seriously, is this true?

Just looked it up.

CNN does not break out Hispanics in their poll.

NYT has Kamala at 49% and Trump at 38% for Hispanics.

Again, Kamala has more to lose in this venue.

Plus you neve act scared. Trump needs to say on offense.

Trump’s town hall will take place on Oct. 8, at 10 p.m. ET in Miami, while Harris’s town hall will be held on Oct. 10, at 10 p.m. ET from Las Vegas, according to Univision.

Trump gets one in a state he already has locked up but Kamala gets one in a competitive swing state? Seems fair, Univision. They should be at the same place.

You just debunked your on hypothesis. They don't have many options. Univision will definitely be giving the townhall questions to Kamala weeks in advance. You know how we know that? Because her campaign does not allow her to do anything they don't have full control over. The catholic dinner unscripted that has been attended by both candidates for 40 years? She won't be attending. Like I said some of you guys are a glutton for punishment

Incorrect

"Jim Acosta is having a brutal morning on CNN.

He was just forced to read the NYT poll that shows Kamala’s support with Latinos in Arizona has dropped 11% since last month."

LINK

“If you believe this New York Times poll, her lead has shrunk by 11 points”

He ought to seek a Fox News town hall debate. It’s only fair. He’s already done a CNN and ABC hosted debate, 2 democrat water-carrying networks.

The first debate was an easy no win decision but he did it and it went exactly how everyone expected and they forced Biden out.

Sounds like that went well and was a win for Trump.

The ABC debate was an ambush with Kamala's best friend heading the news room but he walked right into it.

I thought Trump underperformed on style, but won on substance. OTOH, I though Harris overperformed on style and lost on substance. Regardless, I didn't like Trump's performance in the debate. The whole point of a debate is to influence the voters and gain votes. Despite her "winning" the debate, the post debate polls did not show Harris gaining votes. In fact, some polls showed Trump benefitted from the debate. Maybe it wasn't such a bad decision after all. Trump may have better instincts that I/we think?

Agreed. In addition, Trump's fearless, especially in a 1 on 1 type situation. Yeah, there may be Univision plants in the live audience, but there may also be Trump plants.
