If they make her an underdog people like me will bet 10-20k on her and either happily take the loss or laugh if they steal it again.
Nobody with common sense will bet significantly on trump knowing the other side cheats. Maybe 1000 if the return will be good enough to risk.

But the base's response is why we have Orange now.
We collectively had choices.
And we chose to completely abandon the principles we were angry weren't being upheld to the degree that we wanted (which is about the dumbest thing we could possibly do) and embrace populism instead.
Now you have a guy proposing several liberal planks in the platform (so liberal that people like Bernie Sanders also proposed them and Kamala Harris is stealing them as part of her platform), and the closing of the circle will continue. In 20-30 years if we continue on this trajectory there will be very little difference between the political right and the political left in terms of policy.
Because that's what happens with populism. It's a Marxist ideology in the first place and it will resolve back to that.
So now even if we win, we lose to some degree, and that degree will continue to grow.
I don't know if we could have ever won the game of conservatism vs leftist populism. It's conceivable to me that we would have lost that one too.
But there is no way we can win rightist populism vs leftist populism. 100% chance of failure on that one.
