Haven't they pretty much already done that?
It sounds bad but Israel should just consider these hostages already dead. I know that is a freak harsh statement and reality for the families of hostages. But honestly anyone think these ppl are still alive now? Israel has no choice, they have to go Old Testament on their asses.

As I recall, that's pretty much how they operate.
Kill everyone and if you get some hostages that are alive it's a bonus.

Wrong. IDF needs the permanent threat of something like Hamas right next to them in order to maintain their nearly unquestioned support and funding.
Gaza will remain intact and the same thing will happen again in 10-15 years.

Someone made a very depressing point a few days ago. If Israel has compassion, and they can find out all the places the hostages are being held, they should deliberately bomb those places now. They should be the top priority. Free them one way or another. Go in right now and rescue them or bomb them.
Because the hostages are not going to survive and a quick death is much more humane than being tortured to death over days or weeks and then being beheaded or immolated on live video.
They had a point. A lot of the hostages probably wish they were dead right now.
And yet there are still Hamas apologists on this board.
