These "fat generals" are the ones that relaxed the standards and did all they could to destroy the military... They deserve to be run out on a rail along with every O-6 behind them...

Military leadership in the U.S. has been a joke since ww2. But they have more ribbons than Patton.

World War II Era
Total Force: Approximately 12 million active-duty troops.
General Officers: About 2,000 generals and flag officers, including 4- and 5-star generals.
Ratio: One general officer for every 6,000 troops.

Present Day (Approximate)
Total Force: Around 1.3 million active-duty troops.
General Officers: Approximately 900 general/flag officers.
Ratio: About one general for every 1,400 troops.

Regardless of rank you are still expected to meet the standards. The standards have become a joke the last 4 years and it is about time someone said something. The lax standards show up in their work ethic as well. In the last 4 years I have witnessed some of the dumbest shite I have ever seen. Training accidents are not met with the appropriate discipline or discharge and carelessness has gotten out of control creating an abundance of incidents. That shite starts at the top. It is inexcusable.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the notion that a group of people charged with running the US war machine getting upset or being offended by being called fat and told to get into better physical condition.

If you lack the emotional maturity and resilience to deal/cope with being called fat, perhaps military leadership is not for you.

Eh. I know Generals who are straight beasts, but, again, people like the stereotype so he's playing to the crowd. Does it make us more lethal? Meh. It's another minor issue that could have been handled with a damned email.

The military isn’t a social experiment. It is for war and war is hell. We are a soft people. I don’t want fat soft people who get their feelings hurt protecting me.

Now drop and give me a hundred and then Private Numbnuts over there is going to piss in his boot and you’re going to drink it, you worthless waste of air.

Obama and Biden have really wrecked our war department.

Arguable that it’s treason in how ineffective they let our fighting force become.

O-6 and above is already corrupted... You would be better off to purge it to O-5 and build it back from there....

This is a clever way to force more of the Woke out, those that sat on their hands while Leftist/Globalist Policy destroyed the Nationalist premise of our Military.

This Board has long known what is coming as real comprehensive deportations and cleanup of the voter rolls happens, and the Left/MSM gaslights via the Muh Dictator narrative. The precedent has already been set with the Marines in LA albeit minus much violent resistance.

They are draining the Military swamp of Woke pure and simple.

Meh, think of it as a Commander's Call to ensure each and every member understands exactly wtf is coming.

We have to get the voter rolls cleaned up before mid terms and have the justice department crack down on all dem cheating tactics. They will squeal loud when it happens but it has to in order to save the republic for the majority

No doubt, B. There should be a major public campaign to let voters know that if their name appears on an illegal ballot, out they go. Just the threat alone would scare off a lot; albeit the Dems will scream Muh voter suppression. Which it is, for illegal votes.

The ugly secret that the Dems try to hide is for them, there is no such thing as an *illegal* as the whole world is a ‘citizen’. Note the current Health Care narrative in the budget fight. They are Globalist Transnational Progressives and despise America as Founded. And almost destroyed it. Now the painful cleanup begins. And it is sad for the many poor families who came and might have dropped the Marxist entitlement thing and contributed to MAGA and Freedom.

I don’t really understand this. Shouldn’t high ranking generals be strategists? Seems like telling a chess grandmaster to do more pull-ups.

1. You lead by example.
2. At his/her base, every soldier is a warfighter and should be physically able to fight a war.
3. Obese soldiers popping out of their uniform disgrace the uniform (and make the U.S. look bad and unprepared).
4. This will assist in weeding out the soldiers who are woke and got their position by DEI.

PH, could have been a little more respectful about it.
He must have been looking to drag his sack across them. I mean I agree it could have been handled with an email.

All of these concepts are unfamiliar to the left posters posting here because as Stephen Miller said they don’t build anything. None of the posters crying about it have been good leaders.

Shame is an underutilized implement in the management toolbox. These flag officers need to be shamed publicly for abandoning their primary mission and replacing it with things that do not serve the interests of the United States.
